Why subscribe to PCOS Health with Intuitive Eating?
You donât need to cut out carbs again. Strict diets may have helped your PCOS years ago but I have a feeling nothing seems to work now.
Welcome to my little corner of the internet where I geek out on tools you can add to your PCOS life to balance blood sugar, increase energy, and promote health.
You can free yourself from endless PCOS fatigue, frustration, and guiltâand overcome the lies youâve been told about how to âget better.â My free and paid newsletter space contains my best resources about PCOS strategies to treat it.
My weekly newsletter and podcast goes deeeeep into what provokes PCOS symptoms and keeps people trapped in negative body image. I critically examine the current evidence especially as it relates to what you eat and how you move your body with PCOS.
I am deeply invested in helping you move away from the shame and guilt given to you at the time of PCOS diagnosis. I believe you were given the wrong toolsâanother rigid diet wonât work and I have 25 years of experience to help you explore other options.
I know youâve tried everything youâve been told to do. I believe you. Instead of taking another food away, consider instead what you can add.
What wonât you find here?
You wonât find good/bad food lists or pushes to wake up before 6 am to get that workout in. You wonât find tough love lectures or anything trying to shame you into making different choices. You also wonât find another scam or gimmick promising to cure your PCOS.
Hi Iâm Julie.
I am seasoned dietitian and author who is also a divorced mom of two teenagers. After finishing my masters degree in mental health counseling, I spent 20 years running a private practice specializing in PCOS, eating disorders, and training clinicians.
Now I work out of my garage writing and speaking about PCOS and ways to feel better. I am always on the hunt for the strategies you can add to lower insulin, balance blood sugar, and increase energy. I pair my years of practice based experience while combing the research so you donât have to!
BIG NEWS: I have decided my PCOS book is next. My paid newsletter here on Substack helps support me to be a full time writer, take care of my family, and pay my team a living wage.
